IMO, the Skill Trader should be modified. It should either be cheaper or have more skills.

Sure, they might be a waste. But in the case of the Skill Trainer, it's a disgustingly huge waste.

Again I wasnt asking to have the ember light trainer in the hall just for it to function like every other skill trainer in any city with the exception of ember light. In that, If u have unlocked the skill in pve play on the same account it should be mirrored in the guild hall just like the trainer in ascalon, and how is having the trainer function like any other trainer an exploit? They altered the trainers in the first place i just wanted the damn trainer to function correctly. If u have a noob join your guild on his first char the trainer will only offer the core skills but for existing players it isnt fair to penalize us for the new guys thats hardly overbalancing or exploiting anyone, since the existing account holders can do the same thing in town already>>>

I picked up the Merchant and the Xunlai Agent for my guild. When (read: if) Guild storage ever comes around, we're going to pool our money to get it. Most of the rest wouldn't be very useful to us.
Although, does the weapons customizer come with a nice table with weapons laid out on it? If so, we might get him just for decoration.

i bought the xunlai, the merchant, and the priest for my guild hall. i just couldnt justify spending money on the others.
as far as the others go, i think they should be active based on each characters development. that is, if my character has accessed dakk, the skill trainer should sell every skill that he does. if the char is only up to lions arch, the trainer would have the same skills as sergio, etc, etc. just a question- but does the skill trainer sell sig caps? if so, thats a plus for me right there- thats usually the reason i head to emberlight (shorter walk to him then at droks).
what i personally would pay big for is a secondary profession changer in the guild hall. to avoid exploits, it would work "per char" too- you could only change to a secondary that you have accessed in the desert.

yeah some explaination on "core" should have been given. I shelled out the 100k thinking core meant it would include the assasin and rittualist skills which of course it dont.
another thing bothering me...our skill trainer only shows primary profession skills..its not showing the secondary profession skills at all.
I feel cost should be reduced to 25k and a refund of 75k given to those who shelled out for this pretty much useless trainer. I also feel if they are gonna do skill trainers this way they need to install a Factions Skill trainer at 25k that includes the new skills from factions including assasin and ritualist
The weaponsmith and merchant are pretty much worhtless too. Only reason I even shelled out for them was to make things easier for new players in our guild and so hwen guildies trade weapons they dont have to run to a city to customize it.
I am not gonna bother with the material traders. I really dont see the point in them if we cant have armorsmiths in the guild hall.
I do think an Auction House would be a fantastic additon to guild halls. Could even make them guild hall features only to encourage hall useage. Of course you wouldnt have to travel to the other persons guild hall to pick up your stuff..it would be auto delivered to you

I agree 100%. I don't see why this would be an unreasonable solution to the GH skill trainer problem. Let him have just the "core skills" as permanent offerings and offer more skills as they're unlocked.

Some NPCs like the storage and merchant are priced cheaply, because they're deemed "essential services." Others, like the dye trader and skill trainer are more expensive, because they're luxuries. Some guilds might find them frivolous wastes, but others might like the opportunity to spend some gold and forever have a convenient place for their guild to stock up on capture signets.

Yes, but she's clear on the other side of my Guild island!
One thing I would REALLY like is to be able to see the buy price on runes before salvaging them from the armor. As it is, you have to have the rune in your inventory before you can get a price.
